Application architecture design

We conducted competitor and desktop analysis to identify the potential users' feature priorities. Based on this research, we included the most essential functions to enable users to manage global individual contributors efficiently and compliantly in our first version MVP.

Dashboard

Our homepage features a dashboard that provides basic information about the user's organization and highlights high-priority actions that the user needs to take.

Description

Overview

Sailglobal is an emerging global talent service platform that empowers businesses to seamlessly navigate the complexities of international expansion. As a unified SaaS solution, it streamlines contractor management through compliant contracting, cross-border collaboration, automated payments, and talent analytics – all while embodying modern workforce globalization.

Our biggest challenge is designing and delivering a trustworthy SaaS experience that provides customers with a smooth and efficient method to compliantly cooperate with contractor talents worldwide.

Design goal
Review and iteration

MVP review and iteration

After the first version of the physical website platform release, we conducted a detailed review of the website's UI(User Interface) and UX (User Experience). We identified over 60 bugs related to UI fidelity and functionality implementation. Additionally, we iterated on part of the UI architecture based on the actual performance of the website.

For example, we relocated the language options into the "Profile Settings" dropdown menu to make the main screen area clearer and reduce the effort required to find the language change button.

Adaptive design

Adaptive design

Seamless multi-device experience

To enhance the cross-device experience for users, we have implemented adaptive designs in the first version MVP, tailoring the interface for large screens, medium screens (such as iPads), and small screens (such as mobile phones). This approach ensures a seamless and convenient platform experience across various screen sizes.

Digital branding

Digital branding

Logo and icons

“Sail” in the logo implies the meaning of navigation, aligning with the brand name and suggesting that its business rides the waves in the global market like a voyage, embodying a pioneering and enterprising spirit. The font adopts a simple, modern sans - serif style, conveying a professional, efficient, and cutting - edge brand image, which matches the current digital and global business rhythm.

In terms of color, the primary dark blue—often linked to trust, reliability, and stability—helps establish a trustworthy brand impression in customers’ minds.

The dot above the letter “i” is rendered in the company's theme blue and visualized as a sail, creating a unique visual focal point that breaks the monotony. It symbolizes the brand’s focused attitude in globalization: like that sail standing firm and guiding, it signifies the brand’s precise positioning, foresight in global business layout, and its journey toward the vast ocean of global commerce with focus and professionalism.

Anchored in the 'Let’s Sail Global' theme, I designed a tri-fold brochure to effectively communicate the company’s global vision and professional services for marketing purposes. This design embodies the company's commitment to globalization and premium professional services. The signature blue color scheme - representing trust and expertise - is accentuated by a dynamic sailboat motif, visually reinforcing our international connectivity.

The layout strategically highlights critical metrics including our global networks, specialized platforms, and cross-border departments through intuitive data visualization, ensuring immediate audience understanding.

Compelling earth and network connection imagery powerfully communicates our worldwide presence and digital infrastructure. A curated display of partner and client logos further validates our industry leadership and professional excellence.
